Volunteering
West
High Music
Supporters are parents, friends, and community members interested in
supporting
and enhancing the music students’ experiences at Manchester High
School West.
We also support our Color Guard, an integral component of our Marching
Band.
As Music
Supporters, we fundraise for student activities and supplement the
budget for
the purchase of music, event admission, equipment, and travel. We offer
clerical
and chaperone support. We provide a forum for communication regarding
activities, schedules, and events. And we work to promote the
students’ events
and achievements in the community. While we depend upon our volunteers
to
achieve these objectives, volunteering is not necessary to come to our
meetings
or to become a member.
All attendees are
welcome to come for information and to join in the discussion of
business at
hand. However, a decision for action or an outlay of funds is made by
membership vote.
