THE
MANCHESTER WEST HIGH SCHOOL CONCERT CHOIR AND CHAMBER CHOIRS, UNDER THE
DIRECTION OF SUSAN WILKES, WILL PERFORM WITH NATIONALLY ACCLAIMED COMPOSER
TIM JANIS IN HIS NEW “CELEBRATE AMERICA” MUSICAL SPECIAL ON NHPTV
MARCH 5th AT 8:00PM.

NHPTV and Hal Leonard Music Publishing Co. have
joined up to provide $500 coupons for those schools that participated
in Celebrate America. This coupon will help to buy music for your
school programs. To secure a coupon, a school that is in Celebrate
America, along with its community, needs to raise 50 contributions of $40
or more in the school's name to NHPTV. This can not only be done before the
airing but the night of, as well.
When you call in, mention that their pledge goes
toward the Manchester West High School Choirs. This will be tallied
throughout the night. Pledges can also be gathered now as a fundraiser with the
remainder added on the night of the airing!

Susan
Thorpe Wilkes received her BA in Music Education from Westfield State
College in Massachusetts,
and a Master of Music in Performance - Conducting at the University of Mass./Lowell. She has taught in public schools since 1985, and high school music since 1987 with experiences
in Vermont
and New Hampshire.
While in Vermont,
she worked in several capacities for Vermont All State Music Festivals, New
England Music Festival, and District Music Festivals. Currently she sings
with the Manchester Choral Society as well as maintaining her position as
Director of the Choral and Orchestral Programs at West High School.
